hey thats not bad at all.
again, yeah perspective is a bit confusing here and there, most noticable on his gun. Try to avoid smudge shading, get into cross hatching or something. Actually, its probably not a good idea to shade in with pen outlines, better off doing either pen or pencil.
ya i have a disign for the gun thats laid out flat but when i try to take it and make it at an angle i flunk. and to tell the truth id like to coller it in becous hes supose to be a mettle coller but, i dont have a computer program for that all i can do is things by hand and on top of that im bad at colering. a nother thing what do you mean by cross hatching??

thats a pretty extreme example of crosshatching. But in the context of pencilling,
you draw strokes of varying distance and angles to create lighter or darker patches...but it looks clean and organised. I used a fair bit of crosshatching in my eagle i did recently.
Hmm you shouldnt have to need to colour it in metal, thats achieveable by pen or pencil alone...but that might be tricky. Again i must say that research is necessary...
Being able to draw in perspective is one of the hardest and most vital keys. But its gonna be hard with real characters straight away, thats why starting simple with basic stick figures is essential....to work up slowly.

A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
